There is nothing that I love more than Japanese food! Reason why Japan has always been on my bucket list as one of the countries that I want to visit and really blessed that I was able to go there last July, thanks to my Mom! ^_^
I discovered quite a few yummy restaurants during my stay in Japan and I miss some of them already. Fortunately, I don't have to wait till my next trip, because Marugame Udon is now open in Manila!
Marugame Udon & Tempura is a restaurant that serves authentic tasty udon in self-service style. They also make freshly kneaded and cooked udon in an open-kitchen style. All the preparation procedures are visible to customers, so that you are assured that all food is freshly made in the restaurant. :)
As soon as you got your tray and tempura plate, the attentive staff of Marugame Udon will ask you want udon you would like to order and the one I ordered for this particular visit was the Beef Ontama Bukkake Udon. It basically has bukkake soup, sliced beef and poached egg. :)
You can choose your preferred size - 250g& 350g and temperature - hot or cold for your udon.
The service of Marugame Udon is pretty fast. I didn't have to wait for my udon, I got in just one minute and after that, I moved on to the tempura / omusubi counter! Yey! ^_^
But for you, guys who want more than just udon and tempura, they actually offer rice bowls too!
Absolutely enjoyed my dining experience at Marugame Udon! I can't wait to bring my family here soon! The udon was al dente and very filling!
Best part about it all is that, it's very affordable! ^_^ Just look at the price range below...
